The real strength of hyper web development is that it is an experience as opposed to just information. In this classroom we played to that strength by developing concepts that allow the experiencer to feel the scale of our planetary system in several ways. One part starts with a 1cm "sun" (one half the size of a BB) then scales the orbits of the planets to that sun. students are shocked when they find that the orbit of Pluto is quite a walk (about 300 ft.). Another nearby experience scales the planets against a sun that is 10 meters in diameter. An animated reason for the seasons experience animates a 3-D Earth for a year around the Sun and more.
